Planned Giving

Join the Full Plate Society

Create a legacy that nourishes future generations by joining our Full Plate Society, a thoughtful group of supporters who’ve chosen to leave a lasting impact on hunger in Sacramento County by including a gift to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services in their will or estate plan.

Legacy gifts ensure that SFBFS is able to sustain our mission and provide access to meals for those in need, now and for years to come. They may also provide current or future tax benefits to you and your heirs.

Ways to Give

  • In as little as one sentence, you can leave money to SFBFS in your will. It costs you nothing today, and you can amend your gift at any time in the event that life or financial circumstances change.

  • With a charitable gift annuity, you agree to make a gift to SFBFS, and we, in return, agree to pay you a fixed amount each year for the rest of your life. The balance is used to support our work, now and after your lifetime.
