This Thanksgiving Day tradition is the most popular and largest locally-held race in California. It represents the most profitable fundraiser held on behalf of SFBFS annually. Since its inception in 1994 the race has grown by about 1,500 each year. In 2006, this event raised over $500,000 due to the continued support of our community. Registration for this event will begin August 1, 2007.

In 2006, this event raised over $350,000 for SFBFS' programs. Thank you to the Saca Family for their continued generosity and commitment to the continued success of both this event and SFBFS. A special thanks, also, to our corporate sponsors. |

On November 18, 2006, KMS Group of Companies raised over $50,000. With the sun in their eyes at Rio Americano High School, the brokers used their best (and their sometimes not-so-best!) and most enthusiastic (definitely!) athletic efforts to send the footballs flying all over the place! After the event, everyone meet for food and drinks at Club-2-Me. |

| The Sacramento River Cats are strong supporters of Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. The players and employees volunteer in our programs, provide community grants, and host events for our volunteers and staff. Years of support, including the Players' Wives Donation Drive, has yielded thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of pounds of food for the needy. |
