The Network Café was started in 2001 through a partnership with United Way and SMUD. Since it’s inception over six year ago, the Network Café has positively impacted hundreds of agencies and tens of thousands of under served families in the Sacramento and surrounding area. The goal of the program is to bring organizations closer together to improve community resources and services in an effort to better serve people in need. Every month, between 50-60 representatives from different organizations and agencies meet for a complimentary lunch to share ideas and collaborate on issues and services that impact people in crisis. Thanks to the ongoing support of United Way, SMUD, and participating agencies, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is able to provide an opportunity for organizations to exchange information in a relaxed environment with good food, meaningful interaction, and GREAT NETWORKING!

Not-for-profit agencies are welcome to come share our vision of better assisting those in need. Don’t forget to bring your good spirits, a business card, and your agencies brochures/flyers for the resource table.
